I want things to be better. I already vote. What else can I do?
There are so many causes, issues, and problems that don’t seem to get the attention they need. Disappointed with the state of politics? Wishing Democrats were saying and doing more of something at all levels? This is YOUR party - help shape it! It takes energy, passion, and action to move forward. Hopefully, you DO vote (in both national and local elections). But what actions can you take?
It turns out, a lot! Change, a stronger party, and a better community depend on people like you stepping up. You might be surprised at how much good you can do just by volunteering some time, supporting a great local candidate, or joining a board/committee!
Ways You Can Get Involved:
Attend monthly WTDO meetings to learn what’s happening in Warminster, Ivyland & UPPER Southampton
Sign a petition to get fellow Dems on the ballot
Get Out the Vote: Go Door-Knocking, Stuff envelopes, make phone calls, and send texts
Volunteer at the polls on Election Day
Be a committee person (we have open spots, check your district)
Volunteer for a local board (Parks & Rec, Library, etc.)
Run for a local office yourself! We will help you through every step and make it easy!
Have a specific talent or skill? Donate it for an event or to support a candidate!
